Here’s one I wrote at the suggestion of Steve Jackson. Steve said the song “Aerials” had good lyrics, and would probably be good to parody. I read the lyrics online, but still hadn’t ever heard the song. Then my brother bought the single, and later the album, so I was able to listen to it several times. I substituted ‘Gabriel’ for ‘Aerials’ and the rest followed pretty quickly. This was one of three parodies I performed live & acoustic on the Impromptu Stage at Sonfest 2003 in Boonah.
