T.C.K.

I was born here, schooled here, got my degree
I was raised there, played there, got hit by disease
But they never feel quite like home to me

Second Thoughts

Standing by the car in the street
I don't know the next time we'll meet
Talked about my plans, we
Talked of where I would be

Star Shine

I wonder do you remember
A time when we used to sing
A time when we would laugh and smile
Much more than we do today

Been Before (Comfort Zone)

The sun is shining down on me
As I walk on down the street
To a place I’ve been before

My shoes have seen much better days
But they keep me on my feet
In a place I’ve been before

Letter

It all started with the letter on her doorstep.
There was no stamp, and no return address
A dirty thumb had sealed it with a dirty smudge
The loop in the L, the angle of the T,
The handwriting was eerily familiar.

Spiral

Under a spiral of dying trees
A poet falls on crying knees
But no one hears his lying pleas
As they trickle away in the vying breeze

Wrecking Ball

Here lie the monuments to past disasters
Landmarks unoriginal, she's seen'em all
See her try only once to mask the plaster
Nothing's gonna cover, gonna cover it all
