T.C.K.

I was born here, schooled here, got my degree
I was raised there, played there, got hit by disease
But they never feel quite like home to me

I cook steak on the barbie when the rellies come around
But if I haven't had rice today - I haven't eaten
Feed me pizza or plantain, they both taste like home

My heart and my feet are in two different worlds
And I can't tell you which I prefer
All I know is neither is home
All I know is neither is home

I hear a Channel Seven chopper, then I switch to the BBC
I wear a Broncos jersey, but the Black Stars are my team
I can barely follow cricket, it's not home to me

I count places I've been by the airports I've slept in
The stamps in my passport tell a story all their own
Harmattan or summer rain, they both smell like home

My heart and my feet are in two different worlds
And I can't tell you which I prefer
All I know is neither is home
All I know is neither is home

My heart and my feet are in two different worlds
And I can't tell you which I prefer
All I know is neither is home
All I know is neither is home

No, neither is home
